On Friday 5th July 2019 Meredith and Peter, Chairman of Schools for Kenya climbed Snowdon in North Wales.

Snowdon is the highest peak in Wales, at 3560 feet above sea level and the third highest in the UK. We started on the Rhyd Ddu path and returned via the Ranger path. The walk took us just over 7 hours and we covered 13km.

We were fundraising to support Lenkisem Secondary School near Amboseli National Park in Southern Kenya. Funds raised totalled £1,323.75/174,073 KES

This year Schools for Kenya is funding a fully fitted computer lab for Ol Moti Primary School and a solar powered borehole for Lenkisem.
