Starlight Performing Arts CIC has generously agreed to a one-off theatrical performance of the Lion King with Schools for Kenya a beneficiary.  The Lion King is a 1994 American animated film produced and released by Walt Disney Pictures.

Helen Darwent, Managing Director at Starlight said: “There can be no illusion to the benefits that Starlight Performing Arts CIC brings to the people of Cheshire and surrounding areas.  Much of our activities are tailored to children and youths though we actually have activities for all age groups. CIC means we are a community interest company which in essence means that our organisation is a social enterprise where profits and assets are for the good of the public; and working for the benefit of the community.  We see many similarities to the good work that Schools for Kenya does in African and encourage people to attend this special performance”.

Starlight Performing Arts CIC’s Mission is to encourage local ‘pupils’ irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity, religion and ability to develop their full creative potential through music, dance and drama.
